The Endodontic Group uses the latest technologies to ensure your comfort and a precise, predictable result. With digital radiography, X-rays are displayed instantly and the radiation exposure is greatly reduced. We’re proud to have an in-office CT scanner, which takes 3D images of internal structures, so we can perform endodontic surgery with greater accuracy. Review our technologies here, and don’t hesitate to call if you have any questions.
Cone Beam CT Scans(CBCT) - Cone beam technology provides us with a three-dimensional, digital image of structures beneath the surface of the teeth and gums. This unprecedented view includes tooth roots, internal canals, and bone structures. CBCT (Cone-Beam Computed Tomography) scans are similar in detail to traditional medical CTs, but taken in a fraction of the time, so your radiation exposure will be drastically reduced.
Digital Panorex – Our office uses digital technology for Panorex images that are clear, accurate, and easily stored and transferred. Best of all, a digital Panorex can be taken with up to 90% less radiation than a traditional Panorex. We can review the digital Panorex images with you from our chairside monitor, explaining what the dentist sees and helping you make an informed decision.
Digital Radiography – Using digital radiography, we can clearly identify all external and internal anatomical structures and accurately diagnose your dental condition. Even more amazing, we can immediately translate that information into a large, clear, accurate image, projected onto a monitor that patient and doctor can study together in the operatory.
Operating Microscopes – Specially designed operating microscopes are used during all phases of treatment. With operating microscopes, we can easily detect small details often missed during endodontic treatment.
Electronic Records – For your convenience, we store all medical records and X-rays in our secure, electronic database. You can rest assured knowing your records are available for instant access, infinite duplication, and for remote consultation.
