Ghaeth Yassen, B.D.S., M.S.D., P.H.D.

Ghaeth Yassen, BDS, MSD, PhDDr. Ghaeth Yassen obtained his endodontic certification by participating in the endodontic residency program at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. This prepared him with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a board-certified endodontist, specializing in the study and treatment of the dental pulp and the tissue surrounding the root of the tooth. He also pursued a Ph.D. in Dental Biomaterials focused on root canal materials, which he obtained from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis, Indiana.

His impressive background allowed him to be certified as an endodontics Diplomate by the American Board of Endodontists. Diplomate status is only given to those who have distinguished themselves from others by achieving the highest level of education in the field of endodontics and demonstrating patient care of the highest quality. He is also a member of the American Association of Endodontists and the Texas Dental Association.

Since beginning his practice, Dr. Yassen has continued to dedicate himself to professional growth and development, seeking out how to improve the patient experience. To that end, he has written over 50 peer-reviewed articles on subjects such as regenerative endodontics, dental trauma, and root canal disinfection, which have been published in various prestigious dental journals, including the Journal of Endodontics and the International Endodontic Journal. His authority on the subject also allows him to help others in the field by serving as a regular reviewer for over 25 dental journals. These strides have allowed him to break new ground in the world of dentistry. Thus far, his discoveries have already resulted in two patents related to root canal disinfection, but Dr. Yassen continues to look ahead to the next opportunity.
